Silent Auction Time
White Lake Friends, Inc. will host a silent auction. Bids open at the General Membership Meeting on Saturday, September 27. Online bidding will begin Monday, September 29. Online bidding will be open until noon on October 17, the day before the Lake Clean-up Event. Volunteers will have the opportunity to make bids in person on the morning of the Clean-up. We will have a table set up at the Marina to accept your last minute bids. The three winners will be announced at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18 at the conclusion of the event. SPLASH PAD PARTY FOR 12!
Enjoy a Goldston's Beach Splash Pad Party, complete with fun plus 2 of slices of pizza, a fountain drink, and a DQ small cone or cup for each child. Host a birthday party, a Welcome-to-the-Summer party, or an End-of-Summer party. Good food and good fun for all!

EVENING AT CAPE FEAR VINEYARD
Invite a friend or two and enjoy a three-course curated meal for four at Cape Fear Vineyard. The meal will include an appetizer, salad, and an entree. Non-alcoholic beverages included. Two of you may enjoy a weeknight overnight in one of the beautiful cottages. Even if you own a home at White Lake, this prize creates a wonderful night to just get away.

from 3:00- 5:00 on
Saturday, October 18.
Begin at Town Hall where you will receive your Great Trails State Day booklet.
At each of the ten stations, you will learn interesting facts about our trails here at the lake, about the flora and fauna of our unique Carolina bay, and there will be a chance for you to draw your favorite White Lake scene on the sidewalk!
All ages are invited. Stroller too!! Get outside and enjoy this beautiful place we call home.
Join us - Saturday, September 27 at 1:30 PM. "The Sunshine Plan" is to be at the water's edge near the Chapel at Camp Clearwater. "The Rain Plan" is to be in the Brick House inside the campground. Stop at the gate, get a day pass, and ask which location is where the meeting will be.

White Lake Clean-up
October 18, 2025.
White Lake Clean-Up begins at 8 AM. Come get your bags and gloves at the Marina. Then cover your area of the lake. Bring trash back to the Marina at 11:00 AM. Pick up your White Lake Friends T-shirts. Also, the winners of the three silent auction items will be announced.

To help keep the Lake safe, WhiteLakeFriends consulted with NC Parks and Rec and created this beautiful poster to spread the word about the Rules and Regulations on the Lake. A banner like this will be going up at the Marina where boats launch. We also have a tri-fold brochure that will be available to folks who enjoy being out on the water. We are encouraging all people with rental property to have this information for guest at the Lake.
